Transcript[edit | edit source]
Michael's Garage
Michael: What are you doing?
Stefan: Installing.
Michael: What are you installing?
Stefan: A motor mount. A motor mount.
Michael: What does that do?
Stefan: It attaches the motor to the frame. Uh...
Michael: But isn't your motor already attached to the frame?
Stefan: Yes. The one that, like, this one's pretty stiff, and the one that it comes with is pretty loose, so.
Michael: It just makes it mo' stiff?
Stefan: Mo' stiffer which keeps the wheels on the ground. There's two bolts, there's two final bolts. I took one of them off completely and then when I was pulling on the second one you could see the whole motor, like, moving.
Michael: Heh.
Stefan: Um, so I stuck that one back in.
Michael: Well, I'd offer to help but, I don't wanna get under a car and die.
Stefan: That's why I've got ramps and jack stands.
Michael: I see the ramps, where are the jack stands? Oh, I see the jack stands.
Stefan: If the ramps fail for some reason, there's jack stands.
Michael: How confident do you feel in there?
Stefan: Oh yeah, there it is.
Michael: Oh you got it!
Stefan: Um, pretty confident. I shook it, shook the car around a little bit. Um, the ramps seem pretty good even though they're plastic, which seems weird but, um, it says it's good for 12,000 pounds, and then the jack stands, I mean, I've gotten under cars that were only on jack stands before, but...
Michael: Well, even if you've played Russian roulette before, it doesn't mean it's safe now.
Stefan: Well, sure, yeah no true. I mean I felt confident enough in just jack stands.
Michael: But now you've got double confidanto.
Stefan: Now I've got double confidanto.
EcoGeek Office
Michael: Today we're building a computer. Right Abby? Riiight. Here's the computer. Okay, CPU and CPU cooler are on. Woo! Are you excited Nicole?
Nicole: I'm so excited!
Michael: Wow.
Nicole: Yeah!
Michael: Are you excited Abby? Now we've got the RAM installed. It's kind of a mess in here still, but I think everything is where it should be.
(Abby growling)
Claire: Oh, now what? (laughs) That little tail!
Nick: I know, she's so happy.
Claire: Yeah. (laughs)
In Michael's Car
Michael: I think all of the stuff in the computer is installed correctly but, we were missing an HDMI cable to plug it into a monitor, and I also need to get some kind of external CD ROM drive so that I can install the operating system. How's that lens flare? It's really flar-y. Um, so for now I'm just gonna go home, uh, and then later tonight after I've gotten those other things, I will come back and finish the computer.
At A Rodeo
Claire: Oh, I love the horses. They're so pretty. I want one like that one.
Michael: We're at a rodeo. How do you, how do you win a rodeo?
Claire: Well there's a lot of different types of events. There's barrel racing, calf roping, bull riding, so, it depends on,
Michael: What are they, what are they doing now?
Claire: Calf roping.
Michael: Calf roping?
Claire: I mean, I don't know if that's the technical term.
Announcer: Oh, here's that --- gotta go to work quickly, get him around. Yep, yep, yep. (applause)
Boy --- boy ride, gotta do better than that today. Watch watch watch come on bill. (whistling and applause)
Out we go come on- That is a whole lot of bucking horse right there.
(cheers and applause)
Claire: That was really good.
Announcer: --- state, nine and two hundred --- come on Justin. (goat cries)
And we're watching --- oh, no.
On to the --- there's the shot, there's the shot, ladies and gents, nope, nope, nope. Let's do it, right there, right there, yep, yep.
In Michael's Car
Michael: What I've learned is that rodeos are kinda weird.
Claire: Why are we so dark? Ah! It's bright!
Michael: That would be why.
Claire: Okay, (laughs)
They are weird, but I feel like every sport or any game or any little thing of life is weird to people who aren't involved in it, you know?
Michael: But, they're tying up goats.
Claire: I know, that was sad.
Michael: I imagine PETA is not a fan of rodeos.
Claire: Yeah, I don't think PETA's a fan of lots of things.
Michael: Yeah, you're right.
In Michael's Car, Again
Michael: I am running a quick errand to the airport because, Katelyn Salem just got back from Florida and needs a ride home. Last time she went to Florida, which was two years ago, I think? Um, she came back significantly darker than I am, so I'm interested to see what kind of tan she ended up with this time.
Do you guys see how blown out this image is? I am super frustrated with this FiLMiCPro app right now. The only reason that I'm using this app is because it keeps the framerate consistent so I can edit these videos in the computer, rather than on the phone. But, I don't know what they're doing to the app. The, the updates they've been making are so broken. Part of this app's thing is that you're able to lock exposure and lock focus, but like, it doesn't work. The buttons just don't do anything. Generally when you're filming things, you don't want anything to blow out to pure white, but like, my face right, I, I, I'm, I'm blowing out! ANd I can't fix it because this app is dumb. I should stop ranting and pay attention to the road.
Welcome to Montana! Are you darker than me?
Katelyn: Oh my god, your phone.
Michael: Yeah.
Katelyn: It's so cracked.
Michael: Don't look at the cracks. (coughs)
Katelyn: Does it come through on the camera?
Michael: You can see there's this, yeah, it affects the picture, but it kinda just looks like a cool instagram filter, you know?
Katelyn: I mean, if that's what you think, then keep on thinking that.
It's cold here.
Michael: Sorry we're not Florida.
Michael's Apartment
Michael: Remember that part where I said I was gonna go back and finish Nicole's computer? I don't think I'm gonna do that tonight. I'll do that tomorrow. I am too tired. One more week, and then I'm all done with school until September. Which means, hopefully, more free time. Certainly I'll still have, like, work stuff to do but, it'll be more like it was, you know, before I started school. Right cat? (Index meows) Right. Anyway, I'm going to bed now, so I will see you tomorrow.
