Transcript[edit | edit source]

Michael: I got more than eight hours of sleep last night which is rare and good. However, my throat feels terrible. It feels like there's something swollen in here, I keep coughing, it hurts to swallow.

Right now I'm on my way to Finn & Porter, which is where Claire works, because I wanna try to get an omelet before they stop serving breakfast.

Thanks for serving me an omelet today.

Claire: Yeah. I didn't make it myself. I just took it from the place and brought it to you.

Michael: What are we doing now?

Claire: We are going to Animal Wonders.

Michael: Animal Wonders!

Claire: Yay!

Michael: Ahhhh! My throat hurts.

Given my throat condition, (coughs) I find it kind of hard to breathe in here right now.

So this is the list of all the things?

Claire: Yeah. So, first start out with the birds. In the morning they get their own, like, special diets, like dry food and vegetables, and then at night they get fruit and seeds. So I can just make a mass bowl of fruit and seeds and just give them little tablespoons. Whereas in the morning, you have to like, figure out everybody's specific diets.

(bird noises)

Michael: Why do some animals need their food hidden?

Claire: Because in the wild they spend a lot of their time foraging and looking for their food, so we try and replicate that as best as possible.

Jessi: You're so pretty. Here you go, here you go.

Michael: Home sweet home.

(animals noises)

Jessi: He's so white this time, I usually, usually that short fur is like dark grey.

Claire: Hello.

Michael: I'm gonna see if there's been any progress on the roof since we came out and helped build that thing. Looks to be in about the same condition.

Was is it do you think that you like so much about animals?

Claire: I really don't know. I've just loved animals ever since I was little. Like, when I was little I just, like, thought people were the stupidest thing. I was like, 'The world should just be all animals. We just took it over from them!' and, I don't know.

You pooped three times while you were in there! Three times.

Michael: How long will your allergy symptoms last?

Claire: (coughs) Forty five minutes, an hour.

Michael: Forty five minutes?

Claire: Yeah.

Michael: You're gonna cough all the way home? (Claire nods) Cool.
