Transcript[edit | edit source]
Michael's Apartment
Michael: I still feel very underslept, but I gotta go to the graduation thing, and then it's off to Toronto. Right cat? (Index meows) Yes.
University of Montana
(pomp and circumstance)
Presenter: Will the candidates for the bachelor's degrees in the college of forestry and conservation please stand?
(cheering and applause)
Michael: I'm already running a little but late to the airport, so this is gonna be a fun day.
In Kristen's Car
Michael: Thanks for driving me to the airport Kristen.
Kristen: Oh you're welcome.
Michael: Do you like my phone's screen?
Kristen: Uh, no.
Michael: Oh.
Kristen: It's not what I would choose for my own aesthetic.
Michael: Hopefully I can get it fixed in Canada. They have apple stores there.
Kristen: Good. Good job, Canada.
Missoula International Airport
Michael: I just used the apple watch to swipe my through, uh, security and, uh, the check in. That was pretty cool.
Salt Lake City International Airport
Michael: Salt Lake City. I imagine I've been to this airport more than any other airport, ever. I'm walking straight onto the next plane. I used the apple watch again, it was really exciting.
Minneapolis - St. Paul International Airport
Michael: It is kinda humid here. This is the airport I got stuck in last time, so I'm pretty familiar with this one.
Toronto Pearson International Airport
Pilot: Ladies and gentlemen --- I want to welcome you to Toronto. The local time is 10:04pm.
Michael: I have never had such an easy time going throw customs. The guy basically just asked 'where are you from?' I said Montana, and he said 'have a nice day' and that was it. That was amazing. I'm getting my rental car from Hertz.
Parking Garage
Michael: This time it's a Volkswagen, something. I have no idea what this is actually. Does it say on the back? I've, I've, I've never heard of that. Whatever that is.
In The Car
Michael: This seat is really far back, which makes me think that the last person who used this was very tall, but the mirrors are oriented such that I would expect the last person to use this to be very short. It's a mystery.
At Hotel
Michael: I've arrived at my hotel, and I'll be honest, it looks significantly less luxurious in person than they made it seem on the website.
Front Desk Attendant: Hi.
Michael: Hello.
Front Desk Attendant: Reservation?
Michael: Um, yes.
Okay, I just got checked in. You can tell what kind of hotel you're dealing with when the rooms have actual keys. Here we are, in room- We gotta lock on the door, we've got some kind of intercom thing, bathroom. Shower head, got some hair in the drain. The light doesn't work, so that's cool. Got a little creepy crawly up there. I honestly would not have been that surprised to find something dead in here. This seems to have not been cleaned in a bit. I mean, it's not disgusting, but, I'm honestly not really thrilled bout using these beds. (loud bang) Let's play a game called firework or gunshot.
To avoid spending too much time in that hotel, I'm gonna meet up with Mickie for some food.
Fran's
Michael: Omelet. Fran's has milkshake games where they pit on milkshake against the other, I guess. So this is birthday cake vs. banana split shake. I got the birthday cake, Mickie got the banana split. Mine's better.
Mickie: Mine's better.
Mickie's Apartment
Michael: I think everybody needs to agree on a universal standard for what "birthday cake flavor" means.
Mickie: Yes.
Michael: Because, I mean, I guess I could've guessed because it was brown in the picture, but it was chocolate birthday cake flavor. The birthday cake flavor that I like is like, white cake flavor, it's like vanilla.
Mickie: That makes sense.
Michael: When I think of a birthday cake, I don't think of chocolate.
Mickie: Yeah. Maybe like chocolate sprinkles. Maybe.
Michael: See, Mickie agrees. She's also a flare.
Mickie: I also see the glare, right now, that's really unfortunate.
Michael: So the shake was not, it was not what I expected.
Mickie: But the other one was kind of disappointing too. Like, compared to the Holy Chuck shakes that I've grown accustom to. Just, it wasn't the same, it wasn't as thick and glorious as the other ones are.
Michael: It wasn't as thick and glorious.
Mickie: Why do I feel like that's gonna be the title for this video?
Michael: I was just about to say, there are some times, there are there are moments in life when you hear something and you just know it's going to be the video title. And it brings a, a warm feeling to your heart.
