Transcript[edit | edit source]

Michael: Seems like prime jogging time to me. Too bad I don't have prime jogging lungs right now.

Claire: (moos)

Cows: (moo)

Claire: (moos) Oh, hi.

Michael: Hi.

Claire: Hi. My dad can do the very best cow calls. I'm still working on it.

Cows: (moo)

Claire: Oh, they're talkin' to me.

Michael: Last week of classes. My throat still hurts a lot. (coughs) Mmm, that was a good chunk of, uh, phlegm that came up there. I just wanna be healthy. I really have been sick for like, almost this entire semester. It's been super annoying.

For those of you who are just joining us, you may notice that my phone has a very nice, uh, crack across the front facing camera. Yesterday it had an unfortunate, uh, accident. Today after school I'm gonna stop by, there's a place downtown that seems to have high reviews when it comes to cellphone repair, so we'll see what they can do.

There's a lot of people on campus today. Maybe everybody decided, 'It's the last week of school, I should go to class.'

Calculus Professor: So if we just restricted our attention to the interval a to c, the close interval between a and c, then that definite integral would just be this area right?

Computer Science Professor: Here --- buttons, and now we have a button down here at the bottom. So you can have kinda more of, a little bit more control over where you want things to show up.

Michael: Well, school's over for the day, it's time to see if they can fix my cellphone. Well, I'm here. It's like this dinky little hut thing just on the side of the road, but hopefully they do good work.

Well, uh, that place was gonna charge me $345 to replace the screen. If I drive to Spokane, which is like three hours away, so six hour round trip, Apple will replace it for 120ish, $130. So I guess I have to decide if roughly six hours of my time is worth $200. On the upside, there is a Chipotle in Spokane, and a Krispy Kreme! I guess maybe another option is, 'cause I don't have a two year conract, I don't have any sort of contract with AT&T, who is my cellphone provider. So I guess I could walk into AT&T and sign a two year contract and they'll give me a new phone for, I don't know what it is, a couple hundred dollars, I should see how much that'll cost.

I just looked up how much it would cost me to use my AT&T upgrade to just get a brand new phone.

Claire: Mhmm.

Michael: To get this same phone, it would be $400.

Claire: Why does AT&T suck?

Michael: I think that's just normal.

Look at these lens flares. Maybe I shouldn't get this thing fixed.

People on bicycles, and how drivers react to people on bicycles in Missoula, drives me up the wall. If you're on a bicycle, and you're in the street, you are to be treated like a car. You obey the same rules of the road, and other cars should treat you as if you were just another vehicle. I always see cyclists feeling like they don't have to obey stop signs, because they're a bicycle. The whole reason I'm ranting about this right now is because I almost hit someone because they didn't stop at a stop sign. And it's dangerous when drivers cede the right of way to cyclists who shouldn't have the right of way, because that just confuses everybody. I see both of those things happen all of the time in Missoula, I've never experienced it anywhere else. I'm sure it happens other places but, maybe it's just I've never lived in a place that was so bicycle friendly. Which is cool, but you gotta obey the same rules of the road. Otherwise, somebody's gonna die.
