Outside Michael's Apartment

Michael: Here's my tiny house trailer. Just kidding, I don't know who's trailer that is.

Michael's Car

Michael: Good morning, welcome to Monday. Today I had some uh, mild stomach slash bowel discomfort. Good way to start off the week. I'm on my way into the office, where today I have to take care of some Crash Course Anatomy and SciShow Kids.

Filmic Pro released an update today, so today is gonna be a Filmic Pro testing day, which means we could end up with some weird audio problems, some videos problems, but hopefully, everything works just fine.

EcoGeek Offices

Michael: This app keeps crashing. This is so bad, I hate this thing.

Michael's Apartment

Michael: This is an Apple iPhone 6S Plus. I am going to open it. It looks remarkable like my old phone. Perhaps a little less fingerprinty. It is perhaps heavier, but only perhaps. (Peels off protective cover) Ahh, I love peeling this stuff off, feels so good. What I'm actually most interested about is whether my anamorphic lens will fit just as well on this camera. Um, because the 6S Plus is actually every so slightly thicker than the 6 Plus.

There's a different action on the home button. It's much clickier.

Stefan: I hear touch ID is way faster.

Michael: I hear your mum is way faster. (Both ohh)

Look at this WiFi network. (Zooms in on network named '(.) (.) Boobies') Whose is that?

Stefan: You didn't know about boobies?

Michael: No. I mean I know about boobies, but I didn't know that there is a WiFi network called boobies.

Girl, I've known about boobies since I was born.

Stefan: Wow.

Michael: That was the first thing I ever sucked on. Probably.

Stefan: Maybe, you don't know.

Michael: I, I don't know.

Stefan: Probably not actually.

Michael: What do you think I sucked on first?

Stefan: Well, I'm sure the, the, like nurses.

Michael: I sucked on a nurse?!

Stefan: No! The nurses in the hospital like bottle fed you or something, I don't know what they do.

Michael: How do babies work?

EcoGeek Offices

Michael: Lunch today is a Chicken Caesar Salad from Doc's.

University of Montana

Michael: Today kinda feels like it's dragging on. I just got to school, I'm supposed to be Katelyn here and we have class in like ten minutes.

Lecturer: So don't forget to sign the, the sheet, I'll pass this around.

Michael: Filmic Pro has been working a lot better on this iPhone than the past iPhone but I suspect that it has less to do with the fact that they made the app better and more to do with the fact that the phone is just faster.

It does seem to be picking the correct microphone though, which is the biggest problem that I had with the latest version.

Right now what's annoying is that every time I launch the app, it just defaults back to 1080p, even though this phone can shoot in 4K. So I have to manually change it to 4K every time I launch the app.

I've already forgotten to do it once.

Katelyn: How much bigger is the file for 4K than a 1080p file?

Michael: I'm not actually sure yet, we will find out.

Katelyn: Because I imagine that there would be a lot of footage space.

Michael: Yeah.

Michael's Apartment

Michael: Stefan got a new bed frame. It's uh, PO number ZIN15207.

Stefan: It has a soft headboard.

Nicole: You too can have a bed just like Stefan's.

Stefan: You want to feel like you're sleeping in the same bed as Stefan.

Michael: I'll put a, an Amazon Affiliate link in the video description.

Stefan: Ohhhh, okay, that's how it went.

Michael: There's a box in the box.

Stefan: And it's like upside down. Oh no, wait okay.

(Opening of the bed)

Nicole: What?

Michael: Ooooh.

Nicole: Fancy!

Stefan: Look at that.

Michael: Look at that!

Stefan: Soft.

Nicole: Soft and cushy.

Stefan: It's so soft!

Michael: You too could have a bed like this. (Nicole laughs)

Nicole: Just visit the Amazon Affiliate link in the description. Wow!

Katelyn: I wanna see, I wanna see!

Stefan: Oh, so soft.

Katelyn: It's actually, its actually not that soft...

Michael: Hey kitty!

Stefan: Its heavy! Oh every, what?

Michael: Is it just the headboard?

Stefan: Is everything else inside? What?! (Unzips back)

Nicole: What? Wow.

Katelyn: It's easily, uhhh transported.

Stefan: There's a zipper! There's something caught in the zipper. Oh there we go.

Michael: What!

Katelyn: Wow.

Stefan: This is cool!

Katelyn: That's so efficient!

Michael: What?

Stefan: (boards fall out) Ahhhh!

Michael: Ahhhh!

Katelyn: Jesus Christ.

Stefan: Oh, nice. Love the smell of out-gassing.

Nicole: That fresh, new bed smell.

Michael: (Edge of headboard matches to the edge of the wall) Did you measure this before you bought that?

Stefan: Measure what?

Michael: The..

Stefan: No.

Michael: That's uh, like perfect fit.

Stefan: I don't, I don't, I don't measure things.

Michael: What if it overlapped?

Stefan: Make it work!

Michael: (Assembled bed shown) Nice bed.

Stefan: Thanks. Gonna sleep on it.

Michael: Look at dat boy and his bed. All smoky, it's real dramatic.

Outside Michael's Apartment

Michael: Look at this kitty. Hi kitty, Bye kitty.

The app that I used to track my runs is called Runkeeper and it frequently pauses itself while I'm running and I don't know why. I feel like we're living in this glorious age of technology but it all is just slightly buggy all the time.

Katelyn: That's why they need good computer programmers like you, to fix the bugs.

Michael: Well, I wouldn't call myself a good computer programmer yet.

Katelyn: Well, yeah, you know.

Michael: I'm on the way. Anyway, it's time for the daily Chipotle.

I mentioned the other day that this iPhone is just slightly thicker than the old one and it had a little bit of a hard time fitting into the mount for my bicycle. I hope it stays in. But anyway, its kinda dark but I want to see if I can see any of that uh jello-jiggliness that was plaguing the old iPhone.

Michael's Apartment

Michael: I've been working on my computer science homework for a while and I kinda have a headache. Good news is that it's not due until tomorrow. So I don't have to stay up any longer. It's, its later than I thought it was. I guess its time for bed.

Right cat? Right.
