Transcript[edit | edit source]
Michael: We're back at animal wonders. I feel like we were just here. We were just here.
Claire: Déjà vu.
Michael: Déjà vu.
Jessi is in Spokane with her sons and her husband. So they need someone like Claire to feed all the animals.
Claire: You can try and do it.
Michael: Mmmm, I'm good.
The tortoise is escaping.
Claire: Oh. Yucca. Come back. Where are you trying to go?
Stop filming, just grab my foot.
Michael: Claire has gotten herself stuck on this post.
Welcome to another exciting episode of a bumpy road... with Michael and Claire.
You may be asking yourself, what is this really cool instgram style filter I have on this video? Well let me tell you about this one time when I was trying to use my drone and, uh, the controller got all full of grit from dust flying all over the place. Which, uh, made the controls kinda hard to use, and also, uh, caused the mechanism that holds the phone into the controller to stop holding the phone. Which yielded a, uh, an unfortunate plummet to the ground. What I'm trying to say is that my screen is all shattered and cracked up now. So what you're seeing right here is a, is a crack across the camera. I've had this phone for like, two weeks, tops. Maybe less than that. It happened while preparing for that shot over the water with all of the, uh, what are those things called? The dogwood, uh...
Claire: Cattails?
Michael: Cattails. So that shot cost me several hundred dollars in phonage.
There's this little bar and grill kind of out where animal wonders is. We decided to stop and sample the food.
I feel like the screen crackage adds some character to the picture.
How did you feel about the food?
Claire: It was good. I was hungry, so, I mean, it's all just gone.
Michael: I can't really tell how well you can see that but, uh, it, uh, the lens flares are really cool though.
The weirdest thing about it for me, is that I have dropped iPhones so many times on concrete or asphalt and it's never shattered like this before. Today this phone fell on dirt and the screen just like, exploded. I found a place online that's local and apparently fixes phone screens. So tomorrow after school I'll probably take this thing down there and see what they say about it. Based on the reading that I did, it shouldn't cost more than like, $150. Which is still annoying, but better than having to get a new phone.
Today was an alright day. I didn't get as much done as I would have liked. But, I got some laundry done, some minor cleaning chore things done. I did a lot of housekeeping with the WhatImDoingRightNow project file that Logan and I pass back and forth. Just getting things ready for the next month or so of videos that need to be edited.
I've been coughing up some kind of white mucus today. Which I assume is a good sign, like, it's coming out of my lungs, that, that's good, right? And it would also be bad if it was like, bright green, Yeah? I don't know, I'm not a doctor.
Tomorrow is the first day of the last week of actual class at school. So, I just have to make it through one more week, and then it's just finals. Just finals. So I'm gonna get to bed. Thank you for watching. I will see you in the morning. Right cat? Right.
